The Oriskany Strings held a jam session at the Pine Top Restaurant in New Castle, VA on November 10, 2004 from 8:00 to 10:0 pm. This was the first of hopefully many jam sessions the Strings will hold at this great country restaurant. Junior Christian, of the Craig County Boys, joined the band later in the evening and sang a popular favorite gospel song, "Long Black Train" accompanied by the Strings. Most of the band members ate dinner at the restaurant before the jam session and had a delicious dessert following the session.
