On October 9th, The Oriskany Strings provided support for the King Memorial Church (Oriskany, VA) by staffing the church's booth and playing music during the day-long Craig County Fall Festival in New Castle, VA. The band was in costume all day and attracted much attention to the church's booth with their music and old-time dress.

Band members sold fund raising water color art work of the 100 year old King Memorial church by artist Peg Sheridan. Artwork of landmarks surrounding the Oriskany, VA area were created by local artist, Bonnie Warf, and also sold at the booth. The Oriskany Strings had their new CD, Mostly Gospel, on sale at the booth which enjoyed brisk sales. Half the profits from the sales of this album will be donated to the King Memorial Church
